1. Booking & Advance Payment
- Non-Refundable Advance: The booking advance amount paid at the time of reservation is non-refundable under any circumstances, as it is used to pre-book permits and logistics.
- Full payment must be cleared as per the timeline discussed during the booking confirmation.
2. Mandatory Identification
ID Proof is Mandatory
Every trekker must carry a valid Original Government ID Proof (Aadhar Card, Passport, or Voter ID). Without a valid ID, local authorities/forest departments will not grant permits, and IntoThePeaks will not be responsible for missed treks.
3. Weather & Natural Conditions
- Natural Factors: IntoThePeaks is not responsible for any changes, delays, or cancellations in the itinerary due to bad weather, landslides, heavy snowfall, or roadblocks.
- Any extra costs incurred due to such natural delays (extra stay, food, or transport) shall be borne by the customer.
4. Local Rules & Discipline
To maintain the sanctity of the Himalayas and ensure group safety, trekkers must:
- Follow all Local Rules and Forest Department guidelines strictly.
- Abstain from the consumption of alcohol, narcotics, or any illegal substances during the trek.
- Zero Littering: Do not throw plastic or waste in the mountains. We follow a strict 'Leave No Trace' policy.
5. Risk & Liability
Trekking involves inherent risks. By booking with us, you acknowledge that IntoThePeaks and its guides will not be liable for any personal injury, loss of life, or damage to personal property during the expedition.
